Non-NHS medical services
Most of the care provided by the practice is funded by the NHS. However, the NHS does not cover every service or medical report that a GP may be asked to provide. We offer a range of private, non-NHS medical service to our registered patients.
Examples of private services may include insurance medicals and reports, HGV, LGV and other driving medicals, travel insurance and holiday cancellation reports, employment and pre-employment medicals, private medical insurance forms and other medical certificates or reports.
These services are not covered by the NHS and therefore a fee is payable. The fee will depend on the type of service, the time involved and whether a medical examination is required.
Our fees are set in line with current guidance and suggested fee scales for non-NHS GP services. If you would like to arrange a private service or find out whether we can provide a particular report or medical, please contact the practice. A full list of our current fees is available on request.
