We understand that sometimes appointments need to be changed. If you can no longer attend, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer your appointment to another patient.
Every missed appointment means someone else may have to wait longer to be seen.
- If you arrive more than 10 minutes late for your appointment, you will not be seen and will need to book another appointment.
- For telephone appointments, we will call the number we have on record at least three times during your booked session. If we are unable to reach you, the appointment will be recorded as a DNA, and you will need to rebook.
Repeated missed appointments
If you miss three pre-booked appointments within 12 months without letting us know, we will send you a warning letter. Further missed appointments may lead to a review of your registration with the practice, in line with NHS guidance.
